I’ve always had a passion for creating art. My nearly three decades career as a graphic designer fuels my energy to paint. I credit my great-grandmother for igniting my passion for art when I was around 6 or 7 years old, after giving me a set of 120 Crayola Crayons with the sharpener built into the box. I’ve never stopped exploring my imagination and experimenting with colors, textures, and a mix of different mediums.

Much of my inspiration comes from viewing the ordinary through the lens of colors and visual plains and shapes. I love to intersect, overlap, pile up, and ultimately create space and distance that feels familiar to the world around us but is ambiguous and abstract.
