I love to get inspired by creating a work that resonates with the environment that will host its colors and materials.

I work in oil, acrylic and mixed media. Most of my work is on gallery wrapped canvas, but I also love to work with cradled panels and flat panels. My large work is on 1.5 inch wrapped canvas with finished edges, ready to hang without framing.

Emotions and energy find their voice through colors. There is total freedom in this dialogue.

From an old dried-up paintbrush I found in the street, to scrap pieces of corrugated packing materials, to whisk brooms, tin cans, brayers and window squeegies - every object is a tool to be used in pushing my imagination to create something unique.

Animal rescue is very dear to my heart. For over a decade I’ve rescued, fostered, and volunteered with animal rescue organizations to make new beginnings possible for homeless pets. I love combining my love for animals with my love of painting.

Whether I’m painting dogs, cats, or pet cows, I love to capture the essence of their personality in each painting.
